Gurtz Electrics’ Director of Safety & Human Resources, Luis Hernandez Jr has over 10 years of experience managing safety and working in Construction and Electrical industries. Luis is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a BS in Applied Science and an Associate in Construction Management. He is also a certified Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), and Gurtz Electric has received Platinum/Gold safety awards from Constructsecure.

Claire Obuchowski, CSP
Senior EHS Specialist
Motorola Solutions
Claire graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and has over 12 years of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field. Claire attained her Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certification in 2015. She is currently a Senior EHS Specialist with Motorola Solutions in Schaumburg. Claire has been active with ASSP since 2013, and served as the NEIL Chapter Website and Job Chair from 2015-2018, NEIL Chapter President-Elect from 2017-2018, and NEIL Chapter President from 2018-2019.
