We are the local chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) located in the Northeastern Illinois (NEIL) suburbs of Chicago. Our Chapter was founded in 1982, and we currently have 370 members. This year we will be covering a great variety of safety topics (see the Schedule). The meetings are a great opportunity for networking and to keep up to date on current safety topics! After the chapter meeting there will be an Executive Board meeting which is always open to members, come and bring your ideas for future meetings!
The NEIL Chapter supports the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Student Chapter.
