December 2021 – Habitat for Humanity (Volunteer Event)

Join us for a volunteer event! The ASSP NEIL Chapter will assist with group assembling of furniture for Habitat to sell during the busy holiday shopping season.

Volunteers will need to read and sign the attached waiver. The waiver should be brought with the volunteer to the ReStore location to hand in. It will be collected by Habitat for Humanity.

Registrant Restrictions: Due to Covid-19, there is a hard limit of 12 volunteers. To sign up it is first come first served.

Dress code: Jeans or slacks; tee shirt (no message on shirt, no tank tops or mid-drifts); closed-toe shoes.

Lunch: It is bring your own lunch and drink

Location: Habitat ReStore Arlington Heights is a 37,000 sq feet home renovation center that accepts donated home improvement and building materials from individuals, retailers, contractors, manufacturers and distributors. This donated merchandise is sold at greatly reduced prices to the general public. Through the help of amazing volunteers, both individuals and groups, ReStore generates funds that directly assist the Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley partner families.
