Speaker: Mike Veseling, with SET Rescue & Safety – Special Operations

Michael Veseling is a 43 year veteran of the fire service, having served in nearly every position / rank including, Training Chief, Battalion Chief, Deputy Chief, and Chief of Department. Michael served on several suburban Chicago departments and was involved in most all disciplines including Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials, and Water Rescue. (Headed 35 member dive team for 12+ years) Since his retirement from the fire department, Michael has expanded his knowledge and experience in industrial applications including experience in train derailments, pipeline emergencies, and confined space rescue.
