Gia Garofalo is a Physical Therapists Assistant with over 15 years of experience in multiple settings including hospitals, outpatient therapy clinics, home health, nursing facilities and currently industrial setting focusing on work injuries. She is trained as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and an Advanced Office Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. She provides onsite intervention to employees with soft tissue concerns within OSHA guidelines for the benefit of the employee’s health and to prevent recordables injuries for the employer. The Early Intervention Program entails walk through of a facility, evaluations, interaction of soft tissue (strains/sprains) concerns and jobsite ergonomic analysis.
